Lamar Animal Shelter reaps benefits of fireworks sales

Lamar Animal Control Officer Sandy Alexander, right, accepts a donation of $150 from Jacqui Crockett, from the proceeds of Jake’s Fireworks. Also received by Alexander were several bags of dog food that were donated by customers of the firework’s stand.
