DEB MAYFIELD
LAMAR- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Daniel Funeral Home for Delbert “Deb” Neil Mayfield, 81, Lamar, who died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, after a short illness. Burial will follow in Sheldon Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited to visit at the family home.
Contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Nadine Mayfield; a daughter, Brenda Ensor and husband Steve, Paris, Mo.; two grandchildren, Cyndi Hargis and husband Hank, Centralia and Dan Ensor, Paris, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Rush, Dayton Rush and Jackson Hargis; one brother, Lyn Mayfield and wife Marilyn, Roy, Utah; one sister, Janet Sechrest and husband Larry, Lamar; brothers-in-law, Bob Keithly and Gene Loewe, Lamar; sisters-in-law, Velma Crockett, Wilma Braker and Betty Gilmartin, all of Lamar and numerous nieces and nephews, by whom he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Laraine Mayfield and a sister, Jean Keithly.
Mr. Mayfield was born June 18, 1936, in rural Barton County, to Harvey Floyd and Iva Lavesta (Greer) Mayfield. He was an elder and member of Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a crop farmer and a friend to many.
He married Nadine Loewe on Dec. 22, 1956, in Lamar.
