Ribbon cutting held to welcome Muddy Creek Rustic Furnishings

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger The Barton County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at 12 noon on Friday, Sept. 8, as they welcomed Muddy Creek Rustic Furnishings to the community. Upon entering this shop one’s senses are met with the amazing smell of wood, especially cedar, and the merchandise is extremely appealing to the eye. Muddy Creek Rustic Furnishings, located at 1035 Gulf, on the west side of the Lamar square, is definitely something to behold. Co-owners are Joe and Ramona Smith and Jeremy and Crystal Oswald. Also on hand for the celebration was Joe’s mother, Edith Smith. Crystal was not able to be present due to her job, but had prepared amazing refreshments for those attending to enjoy.
