ROSE DYER

NEVADA, Mo.- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Rose Selma Dyer, 73, Nevada, Mo., who died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2017, at Truman Healthcare Center. Rev. Patrick Teter will officiate. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F.Cemetery in Golden City.

Mrs. Dyer was born Sept. 25, 1943, in St. Louis, to Robert T. and Marie L. (Eithier) Dyer. She was a longtime area resident, living many years at Wyatt House in Golden City and the past six years at Walnut Street Group Home in Nevada.

Her warm smile and infectious laugh brightened many days for friends and co-workers at Vantage Point in Lamar.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and often listened to the local Catholic radio station.
