Tigers Cross Country team competes at Cassville

The Lamar High School Boys Cross Country team easily took first place at the Cassville Cross Country Invitational held October 5. The meet was designated as “XC Pink-Out -2017”, to bring awareness to breast cancer, dedicated to those who have fought and are still fighting, with the hopes to end breast cancer forever. Athletes representing Lamar are, left to right, Brenden Kelley (19th-varsity), Greggory Mather (1st place-JV race), Mark Venable (night off due to injury), Joe Kremp (17th-varsity), Ethan Pittsenbarger (2nd-varsity), Garrett Morey (7th-varsity), Michael Caruthers (42nd-varsity), Kolin Overstreet (1st place varsity) and Parker King (11th-Varsity).
