Performance Techniques band students give back to community

Becky Payne's small Performance Techniques class of advanced Lamar High School band students met recently to complete Christmas cards and wrap gifts for residents of Truman Healthcare and Maple Living Center. The group will be going to the area senior centers to perform special holiday music for the residents to lift spirits and give back to their community. Parent, Chris Kemp, obtained a grant to help with gifts for the elderly/impaired.
