CLINT WILLIAMS

IANTHA- Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Charles Clinton “Clint” Williams, 88, Iantha, who died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Truman Healthcare in Lamar. Burial, with military honors, will be in Iantha Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Iantha Methodist Church Building Fund, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include his children, Brenda Reynolds, Brian Williams and wife Heather and Brad Williams; six grandchildren, Carlie Brown and husband Scott, Chelsie Griffin and husband Vance, Grace Williams, Peyton Williams, Justin Reynolds and wife Lynae and Cole Williams and six great-grandchildren, Cash and Swayzie Brown, Finley and Logan Griffen and Jakeb and Hunter Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Max and two sisters, Marguerite Wheeler and Jean Green.
Mr. Williams was born Feb. 28, 1929, at home in Iantha, to Carl and Esther (Brown) Williams. He was a 1947 Liberal High School graduate, where he played basketball for the Bulldogs.
He served in the United States Army from 1951-1956. He was a farmer and had worked and retired from O’Sullivan Industries. He took an interest in his community by being on the MFA Coop, as well as the Liberal School and Central Township boards, leaving a lasting impact with his leadership. He attended his children’s games and activities at Liberal and then would be cheering on his grandchildren and attending their activities. He was a member and attended Iantha United Methodist Church.
He married Erma Lee LeVaugh on May 19, 1956, in Iantha. She died June 10, 2001.
