Girl Scouts recognized for earning service bar

Girl Scouts who were recognized for earning the Cadette Community Service bar were , left to right, Lexi Phipps, Meghan Watson, Haily Born, Kara Morey and Kaitlyn Davis. To earn this award each girl needed to complete at least 20 hours of service to something they are passionate about in their community. Lexi volunteered at the Love and Learn Christian Preschool. Meghan helped with Vacation Bible School at the Jasper Methodist Church. Haily volunteered at Oakton United Methodist Church’s Vacation Bible School. Kara served as an assistant teacher at the First Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School and Kaitlyn volunteered with the Master Gardener’s program.
