Mr. Clements was born May 29, 1951, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Robert William Wesley and Lucille Beth (Davis) Clements. He married Gwen on Dec. 5, 1987, in Lamar, where they resided until 2015. He was a truck driver for the majority of his career, delivering fuel to many area towns.

In 2014, he proudly graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the University of Phoenix.

He loved fishing, cooking, making up nicknames, cracking jokes, poking fun, calling 20 times until you picked up the phone just to say hi and spending time with his grandchildren. His favorite sweatshirt, in fact, stated, “No one does it like Grandpa”. If he made fun of you or gave you a silly nickname, then you knew he liked you.
