CatTracks dominates competition for fifth consecutive year/wins 2018 Heartland Area Regional Swim Championships

The sister/brother duo of Mycah Reed and Aidan Reed made a big impact as members of the CatTracks swim team during the Heartland AREA Regional swim championships on March 2-4. In her first year in the 15-21 Girls age group, Mycah finished third overall in High Point Competition, winning the 400 yard IM, 200 yard IM and 100 yard breaststroke. She also finished second in the 200 yard breaststroke, 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle and third in the 200 yard freestyle. Aidan medaled in six individual events for 13-14 Boys, including the 200 yard breaststroke, sixth place; 100 yard backstroke, eighth place; 200 yard IM, sixth place; 100 yard breaststroke, eighth place and 200 yard backstroke, fifth place. Mycah also was a member of four championship relays, earning four Best Times and three new Regional Records. Aidan competed with the 15-21 Boys 200 yard freestyle relay (fourth place) and 400 yard freestyle relay (third place), as well as the 13-14 Boys 200 yard medley relay (fourth place) and 400 yard freestyle relay (second place).
