The Lamar High School baseball team placed second in district play, knocking off El Dorado Springs in the sectional game and eventually losing to Stockton in the championship. The year was a significant improvement for the team, with a winning record of 13-8, following a five win season in 2017. Coached by Thad Lundine and Bryan Adams, the Tigers were led by a strong group of seniors who knew what it took to win and lead the underclassmen.
