Johnson signs to play with Missouri Valley

A four-year letterman for the Carthage boys basketball team, senior Chase Johnson will continue his career at the NIAI level in college after signing with Missouri Valley College in Marshall. Johnson is the son of Jeremy Johnson, a 1994 graduate of Lamar High School and the grandson of Jackie Johnson Beckett, also a Lamar High School graduate. He is the great-grandson of Darlene Harper, Lamar.
