Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger With the idea of bringing more people to the square, Scoopies opened a sweet treat shop as a means of getting people to gather and enjoy each other’s company. Here, out on the beautifully decorated bench in front of Decorating Den is Bonda Rawlings, right, with members of her family, sister Jo Faubion and her great-grandson Tripp Jones, enjoying ice cream and the beautiful day.
