LIBERAL- A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. today (Wednesday) at the Liberal City Cemetery for Sharon K. Yokley, 67, Liberal, who died Friday, June 8, 2018, at Gran Villas in Pittsburg, Kan. Mike Perry will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include a son, Kevin Cambers and wife Jeannie, Neosho; a daughter, Kendra Zafuta and husband Karl, Frontenac, Kan.; five grandchildren, Kortney and Bryce Cambers and Ryan, Nick and Karlie Zafuta; one great-grandson, Jett Zafuta; a sister, Mila Swearingen and husband Larry, Cross Timbers and her two constant companions, Precious and Buddy.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Herbert Baetke.

Mrs. Yokley was born Nov. 4, 1950, in Lamar, to Thomas Arthur and Edith Lorraine (Clark) Baetke. She grew up in Liberal and was a 1968 graduate of Liberal High School. She continued her education in the field of cosmetology. She was a beautician and also worked for a while at the state hospital in Nevada as an aid. She was most proud of her career as an over the road truck driver.

She married Gary Yokley on Dec. 8, 1984. He died Feb. 24, 2011.
