TEOFILO RODRIGUEZ, JR.

A memorial service and military honors will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, for Teofilo Rodriguez, Jr., 74, who died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Konantz Warden Funeral Home, Lamar.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; one son, Theophilus Jose Rodriguez, Jasper; two daughters, Sarah Bacon, Las Vegas, Nevada and Sylvia George, Henderson, Nevada; three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Rodriguez was born Aug. 4, 1943, in Bayton, Texas, to Teofilo Rodriguez Sr. and Sarah Duarte Rodriguez. He was the oldest of eight children.

He was a veteran, having served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked in the oil industry as an accountant.

He married Mary Louise Hernandez on July 31, 1965.
