ERIK BRYON SHORES

LAMAR-A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada for Erik Bryon Shores, 29, who died Sunday, July 12, 2015, in Leavenworth, Kan. Rev. Johannes Brann will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Garden at 2 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Brandy Kay Shores, Tulsa, Okla.; his children, Johnathan and Macy Danner, Lamar; his parents, David and Tami Shores, Tulsa, Okla. and Randal E. Bell, St. Louis; his great-grandmother, Madia Hogan, Nevada, Mo.; two sisters, Lisa M. Shores, Tulsa, Okla. and Melissa Taylor, Alabama; four nephews, Nicholas, Zachery, Christopher and Jorden and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Mr. Shores was born Sept. 15, 1985, in Lamar, to Randal Eugene Bell and Tami Kay Reichard. He loved the outdoors, especially going fishing whenever he had the time. He also enjoyed listening to music. He was known as someone who never met a stranger.
