LEBANON-Services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Holman-Howe Funeral Home for Carol Jean Baughman, 75, Lebanon, who died Saturday morning, July 18, 2015, at Lebanon North Health & Rehabilitation Center.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Round Prairie Cemetery in Barton County.

Visitation will immediately follow the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Round Prairie Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Baughman and wife Lynn, Vero Beach, Fla. and Mark Baughman, Newport News, VA; a daughter, Brenda Baughman, Greensboro, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Katharine, Laura, Benjamin, Stephen, Michael, Ryan and Alexis; two great-grandchildren, Lilly and Landon and a sister, Marilyn Broyles and husband Russell, Lebanon.

Mrs. Baughman was born Feb. 11, 1940, near Lamar, to Ernest and Helen Kathleen (Purdy) Huckaby. She was a graduate of Lamar High School. She married William H. Baughman Jr., who preceded her in death. After getting married she was a devoted homemaker, while living in various locations while her husband served in the military. Eventually they settled in Lebanon, where she began work as a secretary for Laclede County Farm Bureau. She later worked for Shelter Insurance in Lebanon for a number of years before retiring.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Lebanon.
