DEBORAH RILEY
NEVADA, Mo.- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home in Lamar, for Deborah F Riley, 62, who died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Medical Lodge in Nevada, after a long battle with cancer. Pastor Nick Williams will officiate.

Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Jane (VanKirk) Foyet and husband Patrick; two grandchildren, Zaden Dean VanKirk and Zoey Rene VanKirk and two nephews, Beau James Riley and Adam Rock Riley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Riley.
Mrs. Riley was born April 5, 1956, in Olathe, Kan., to Robert and Ruby (Fast) Riley. She lived most of her life in Barton County. She graduated from Liberal High School and also received an Associate Degree in Nursing. She had worked as an RN at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Pittsburg, Kan. and as an RN at the Ft. Scott Hospital, RN Administrator at Medical Lodge South in Pittsburg, Kan. and had worked for Vantage Point in Lamar.
She was a member of the Church of God in Minden and attended regularly when she lived in the Liberal and Minden area. She was a very religious woman and faithfully attended church up until her last days at the Nevada Medical Lodge. She had a strong faith in God and believed she would walk with Jesus one day.
She will be remembered by her family and friends as a caring and compassionate woman who would always go the extra mile to help those in need. Her smiling face will be forever missed by her daughter, family and anyone who knew her.
