LAMAR- The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Daniel Funeral Home for Kelly Renee’ Tedrick, 60, Lamar, who died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family, following a lengthy illness.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Tedrick family, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include two sons, Jeremy Cochran and wife Jeri, Lamar and Cody Cochran and wife Jewell, Jasper; her mother, Ione Tedrick; one brother, Robin Tedrick and wife Tina, Stratford, Iowa; one sister, Shelly Starmer and husband Shawn, Lamar and eight grandchildren, Allison, Montana, Madelyn, Grace, Dylan, Grevyn, Presley and Branch.

She was preceded in death by her father, Fredrick Keith Tedrick; her grandparents, Clarence and Alta Pruett and Fred and Unabelle Tedrick, along with her uncle, Sam Ladd and aunt, Sandy Ladd.

Ms. Tedrick was born Jan. 4, 1958, in Alton, Ill., to Frederick Keith and Ella Ione (Pruett) Tedrick. After moving to Lamar in 1975, she graduated from Lamar High School in 1976 and Missouri Southern State University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Art. She taught Art at Lamar High School, retiring in 2015.
