Fundraiser for Sami Bayless draws crowd

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger A good size crowd was on hand at Lamar Memorial Hall on Thursday evening, Sept. 6, for Lamar Paddle for a Cause. Various vendors were present, along with raffles and a silent auction, with proceeds to be used to help offset costs incurred by Sami Bayless, from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident. Mike and Ann Kelley grilled burgers, with all proceeds benefitting Bayless. A total of $1542 was raised by the event.
