VENICE ANN LITTLE
MINDENMINES-A memorial service was held at 6 p.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Lamar for Venice Ann Little, 52, Mindenmines, who died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Mulberry, Kan. Nephews served as pallbearers.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Don Little; a daughter, Samantha Sam Little, Wamsutter, Wyo.; her father and stepmother, James and Patty Long, Walker; a brother, William Dean and Lisa Long, Mulberry, Kan.; three sisters, Diana and Hippie Coates, Mulberry, Kan., Debra Klein, Pittsburg, Kan. and Cynthia and Eddie Bazal, Liberal and two granddaughters, Joanna Little and Alexis Little.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ann Long.
Mrs. Little was born Sept. 15, 1962, at Gravette, Ark., to James William and Jo Ann (Stewart) Long. She was a Baptist and owned and operated the Big Little Mini Mart in Mindenmines. She had also worked as a truck driver, a waitress, a secretary and had owned a restaurant and catering service. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, making quilts and spending time with family and friends. She was a very strong willed, loving person.
She married Don Little on Feb. 16, 1992, at Las Vegas, Nevada.
