IVAN G. YOUNT

MORGAN HILLS, Calif.- Services were held at 1 p.m. Friday at Daniel Funeral in Lamar, Mo. for Ivan Gerald Yount, 81, Morgan Hills, who died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018. Burial was in Barton City Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Yount; one son, Ivan Yount III, Rocklin; one daughter, Yvonne Jansen, Oldfield, Mo.; his mother, Ella Yount, Independence, Mo.; a brother, Roy Yount, Idaho; two sisters, Deloris Stafford, Independence, Mo. and Janice Bundy, Buckner, Mo. and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Yount Sr. and a brother, Paul Yount.

Mr. Yount was born Jan. 25, 1937, in Irwin, to Ivan Gerald Yount Sr. and Ella (Yokely) Yount. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1957 to 1961. He was an electrical engineer and was a Presbyterian.
