Kluhsman signs with Central Methodist

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Lamar High School senior Abby Kluhsman signed on Tuesday, Feb. 26, to run Cross Country and Track for Central Methodist University in Fayette. Abby, who plans to major in Criminal Justice while at Central Methodist has been running cross country and track since she was in seventh grade. Sixth grade girls earn Kansas State Championship
Lockwood High School cheerleaders Kalsee Garoutte, Rachel Baugh and Mekenzi Weimer recently received Academic All-State honors. To receive Academic All-State for cheer, one must be a varsity cheerleader, have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.5, be in the top 20 percent of their class and be a current senior, junior or sophomore.
