DONALD LEE ROGERS, JR.

LAMAR-Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Konantz Warden Funeral Home for Donald Lee Rogers, Jr., 56, Lamar, who died at his home on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015. Burial will be in Nigh Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a family support memorial fund, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include five sisters, Mary Kay White, Wilma Jo Puckett and Pamela D'Ann Slater, Lamar and Tracy Lynn Kennedy and Connie Marie Smith, Joplin and aunts and uncles, Warren and Shirley Lowe and Don and Nancy Duncan. He was loved by many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Mitzi Willey.
Mr. Rogers was born Jan. 22, 1959, in Lamar, to Donald and Hazel (Lowe) Rogers, Sr. He worked at the bowling alley and for the City of Lamar and after graduating from Lamar High School in 1978 he began his career as a make ready supervisor for several auctioneer companies. He had worked for Miller and Miller Auctioneers, Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers, Stephen Passy and Associates and Steven Stanley Construction Co.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 4405.
