DEANA DOCKERY

LAMAR-A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lamar United Methodist Church for Deana Renee Dockery, 58, Lamar, who died Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident north of Lusk, Wyo. A private family committal service will be held at a later date at St. James Cemetery, north of Milford.
Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12 noon.
Arrangements are under the direction of Daniel Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include her father, Lee Dockery, Lamar; a brother, Terry Dockery and wife Crystal, Carthage; a nephew, Aaron Dockery and wife Nancy; a niece, Segren Cagle; great-nieces, Shelby, Katelyn and Kelly Dockery; her Dighero family and a host of close friends.
Ms. Dockery was born Jan. 21, 1957, in Lamar, to Lee and Julia (Crosson) Dockery. After graduating from Lamar High School in 1976, she earned a certificate of cosmetology and had worked as a hairdresser for nearly 40 years. She will be missed by her many clients at the Mane Station, not only for her expertise in cosmetology, but also her bubbly personality and cheerful disposition. In addition to making a comfortable and loving home for Dennis Dighero, her partner of more than 20 years, she was always ready for an adventure, whether it be camping, skiing or fishing at Stockton Lake, or riding the Harley with Dennis, anywhere, anytime.
