LAMAR- Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Daniel Funeral home for Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Berry, 85, Lamar, who died Sunday, April 7, 2019. Burial will follow in Sheldon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include a sister, Cora Lynn Combs, Irving, Texas; her children, daughter Bobby Blanchard and husband Jeff, Bisbee, Ariz., son Mike Blanchard, Baton Rouge, La. and daughter Lisa Cunningham and husband Ronnie, Lamar; grandchildren, Travis Rodebush, Holly Hutchins and Tom England, Jinny and Paul De Luca, David Blanchard, Melanie Blanchard, Drew Cunningham and wife Sydney and Rylee Cunningham; four great-grandchildren, Austin England, Caleb England, Colter England, Zoey Cunningham and Rub De Luca, as well as four great-great-granddaughters.

She will be dearly missed by those who called her mom, sister, Granny, Nanny, grandma and friend.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Roberta Northup and brothers, Ralph Woods, Lloyd Woods and Homer Combs, Jr.

Mrs. Berry was born Dec. 14, 1933, in Hartford, Kan., to Frances and Homer Combs and Clarence Woods. She was reared in Jerico Springs and Sheldon. She played on the girls basketball team while attending Sheldon High School.

She married Robert Blanchard in December of 1950 and they had three children together.

She had worked at Bee Discount, Jim and Charlie’s Market and O’Sullivan Industries, where she retired from in 1996.

She enjoyed music, dancing, baking and spending time with family and friends. She was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. She was a dedicated supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, which was a cause close to her heart.
