MARY JANE “JANIE” BURTON

LAMAR- Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pennsboro Cemetery in South Greenfield for Mary Jane “Janie” Burton, 62, Lamar, who died Thursday, May 2, 2019.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Griffin Funeral Homes in Ash Grove.

Survivors include three sisters, Wanda Stump and husband Jerry, Springfield and Helen Osburn and Lois Duncan and husband Darrell “DD”, all of Lamar; three brothers, Carl Burton and wife Jean, Carthage, Wayne Burton and wife Michell, Stockton and Rick Burton and wife Debbie, LaRussell; nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dale Burton and Donald Gene Burton and a brother-in-law, Edward “Ed” Osburn.

Mrs. Burton was born July 14, 1956, in Carthage, to Vester A. and Mildred G. (Harris) Burton.

She enjoyed crocheting, being outdoors and raising flowers. She also made wonderful cinnamon rolls and sugar cookies and enjoyed sharing them with her loved ones. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
