LHS Tigers claim team titles at Districts

Pictured, left to right: Dylan Lee Hill, Landon Hardman, Chase Davey and Justin Walker placed second in the 4x100 meter relay at the Class 3 District Championships in Clinton on May 11. Hill also qualified for Sectional competition in the long jump (second) and Hardman advanced to Sectionals in the 200 meter dash (second) and the triple jump (third). Davey will also compete at Sectionals in the 4x400 meter relay and the 4x800 meter relay.

Lamar Tigers dominate Jasper
Treycen Coy, son of Matthew Coy and Angie Coy, is the sixth grade Lamar Middle School Student of the Week. In his spare time Treycen likes to play football, eat, play with his brothers and sisters in his yard and mow the lawn. His favorite college team is the Oklahoma Sooners and his favorite NFL team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
