EDWARD EUGENE WEINSTEIN

GOLDEN CITY- Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar for Edward Eugene Weinstein, 105, Golden City, who died Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Golden City.
The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m., at the funeral home.
Contributions are suggested and payable to I.O.O.F. Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Claude and Lester Weinstein; sisters, Mable Lowry and Leona Shaw and two wives, Alta Reynolds and Marguerite (Probert) Weinstein.
Mr. Weinstein was born Nov. 18, 1913, in rural Dade County, to Lyman Edward and Iva Ione (Lyons) Weinstein. He was a lifelong resident of the Golden City area and was a former farmer and dairyman, breeding registered Holstein cattle. Through the years he became a well-known self taught electrician, plumber and master carpenter, working alongside his brother and brother-in-law. After retiring, he enjoyed raising fresh grown produce and building wood crafts.
