Parkers recognized by Golden Harvest Days Committee

Lamar Democrat/Melody Metzger Stanley Parker and wife Henrietta were recognized Friday evening, July 19, by Allen Rice (left) with the Golden Harvest Days Committee. Stanley has owned and operated Parker’s Barber Shop in Golden City since July 2, 1959, making this his 60th year in business. The recognition took place underneath the East Park Pavilion.
