MARGARET ANN MARTI

LAMAR- Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, at Daniel Funeral Home, for Margaret Ann Marti, 77, Lamar, who died at her home on Monday, Aug. 19, 2019. A private family burial was held in the Marti Family Cemetery.

Contributions are suggested and made payable to First Baptist Church Youth Group or Milford Christian Church Youth Group, in care of the funeral home.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Marti and wife Debbie, Lamar; two daughters, Julie Miller and husband Erin, Lamar and Shari Emmerling and husband Bill, Warrenton; eight grandchildren, Marlie Miller, Josie Miller, Kimberly Cantrell and husband Alex, Jennifer Regier and husband Kale, Jeremy “J-Dawg” Marti, Charis Woods and husband Rodney, Rinnah Emmerling and Josiah Emmerling and wife Mariah; six great-grandchildren, Darien Regier, Marti Regier, Aviana Regier, Reagan Woods, Carmia Emmerling and baby Cantrell will arrive in October 2019; three brothers, Delbert Berryhill, Lamar, Ron Berryhill and wife Joan, Raymore and Charlie Berryhill and wife Rhonda, Nevada, Mo.; two sisters, Lorene Darrah and husband Johnny, Sullivan and Kay Divine and husband Bob, Lamar; a niece, Sherri Bayless and husband Jim; brother-in-law, Charles Marti and wife Alice and four sisters-in-law, Jean Marti, Kay Marti, Deloris Marti and Doris Berryhill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Fleeter Marti.

Mrs. Marti was born March 13, 1942, in Lamar, to Norval Edwin and Ruby Lois (Wescott) Berryhill. She graduated from Lamar High School in the class of 1960 and on June 24, 1960, she married Roland Leroy “Fleeter” Marti in Lamar.

Mrs. Marti was the owner of Berryhill Oil and LaMarti’s. She attended First Christian Church and Milford Christian Church, Lamar. She loved to attend her grandchildren’s events.
